For truly mind blowing tattoos in Portland, OR, Joshua Hibbard is the tattoo artist for you.
“I want each of my clients to feel comfortable when they walk through the door and I will take the time to get to know you, understand your motivations for your new tattoo and to make sure you are getting a one-of-a-kind piece.
A lot of clients will ask me what I prefer to do, and I always say that I want to create something that is natural, something that looks like it’s a part of your body, and something that interacts well with the skin (not something that looks like a sticker).
I prefer large scale conceptual work and look for dedicated clients that are looking for more intricate and detailed designs that may take multiple sessions.
I’m looking for people willing to put the time and energy in for serious artwork, one-of-a-kind pieces that cannot be duplicated and something that is going to truly be a shock to people. That’s what I do, that’s what people come to me for.
I believe in doing really good tattoos that take time. The difference between the really good tattoo and the not so good tattoo is not only the skill level of the artist but the time that’s taken and put into the art.
Sometimes, depending on the detail I will let you know upfront that your tattoos are going to take more time. I’m not going to work slow, but in order for your piece to have a lot of detail and to have minimal trauma on the skin, it will take time.
Ultimately, my goal is to provide you with the tattoo you’ve been envisioning, and I want to have confidence that you are getting exactly what you want. If I believe I can take your ideas to the next level, I will always provide my input to ensure you are getting the very best.
When it comes to getting the tattoo you deserve in a creative, inspirational and inclusive environment, I hope that you will think of Portland Tattoo Company.”
